Its listener supported so there are no commercials, although right now they are having a pledge drive.

Take a look at www.bbc.co.uk - you can get to their radio stations online there. I usually have the car radio set to Radio 1 ( www.bbc.co.uk/radio1 ) - mainly because it's the only station I can get without interference, crackling, hissing, and loss of signal problems - I live in an area with plenty of hills and other landscape features that tend to play havoc with radio signals!

Hello CoertSmit, Thanks for your info, We have some friends that live in the Netherlands , & on the mixed language , thats no problem , I can understand some dutch but not enough. Many years ago I used to listen to a station near Rapid City SD. USA. They would broadcast in the Native American Indian Lakota ( Dakota ) language & english. After a while I could understand what they were talking & singing about. So I don't mind learning a language, It just takes time. "THANKS AGAIN"..........anymore ,.....from anybody else ? PS; I listen to just about any type of music as long as it sounds good to me.

http://www.3fm.nl is my favorite, just click on 'luister live' at the top of the screen.

http://www.rtl.nl/experience/yorinfm/index.xml , yorin fm is one of the biggest in Holland, don't mind the half dutch, half english language on the website but it seems to be popuplair. There's a small black banner hidden on this site that says 'listen now' so that shouldn't be a problem [:)]

I know this is side tracking from this forum, But I noticed that there are alot of folks from other countries on here. Can any of you tell us about any radio stations that are on via the web & do you have the site address. I listened to the Pat & Bob show on a local station in Madison Wi. ( www.magic98.com ) & they were talking to a presenter ( DJ ) Ann Marie from Ireland & gave us the web site to listen in. ( www.todayfm.com ) I thought it was kind of neat hearing music & information from & about another country.
