Where to find Bachmann circus cars?
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, March 18, 2004 1:11 PM
I just ordered the Bachmann Ringmaster set and I am having a hard time finding additional circus cars. Tops on my list are:
1. Giraffe cage car
2. Lion and Tiger cage car
3. Caboose (Haven't seen one yet, don't know if it was ever made)
4. Tanker ( I seem to remember seeing one, maybe on eBay, but can't find it again for the life of me[banghead])

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Dave,
Don't know if this is really going to help, but you might want to try:
http://www.circuscreationsunlimited1.bizonthe.net/HoGaugeCatalog.html
This is perhaps the slowest site to download that I have ever found on the Web.
You may want to send them an Email, that's almost faster than waiting for their site to download, it's that slow. Perhaps they know of a source for the Bachmann cars. Good luck.

Thanks Bob! They do have a few of the pieces I was looking for. Luckily, I have a T3 connection at work so the pages didn't take too long.

Are you refering to B-manns Big Hauler G scale set?

Ebay is going to be the best source as B-mann has made several different circus car types over the years. The caboose was part of the "roustabout" circus train that used the small sidetank Porter engine. Good Luck

   Have fun with your trains

V- Yes, I got the G-scale Big Hauler set. The link Bob suggested does have a few Bachmann G-scale pieces, but I guess I'll have to go the old eBay route....
