I'm not really into hood diesels, but the GP-7's and GP-9 high hoods look the best to me.

GP40-2 is my favourite.
CP GP40-2 4656 I have as a model & have seen it switching CPR's GM yard on occasion.

I have to go with the GP30. It followed the automobile of the time, but was a Great looking motor! I have 8 of them on the shelves, waiting for the layout to be built!
