Who are these guys trying to kid? [;)]
A 450' minimum radius curve!
$59,000 !!!!!!!
Who can afford & use this on their layout!!!!!?????
I suppose for 59 grand the coupler height should be perfect!

I think MR is finally loosing it!!!! [(-D][(-D][(-D]

Just my 2 cents

Gordon [:D]

Brought to you by the letters C.P.R. as well as D&H!

 K1a - all the way

This review was great!!! The 12"=1' model I am working on weiqhs in at a svelte 737,500 lbs!! That's right, 863 tons, give or take. She is 100' long across the couplers, and burns 8 gallons of #4 fuel oil and uses 120 gallons of water per mile. She is beautiful!! She is a class L1 Northern. My other scale is N scale, so I guess you could say I'm working both ends of the spectrum!!

It's just a matter of rethinking that new car you want and the one for the wife.

Does the $59,000 include S&H or is that extra?

Enjoy
Paul

I guess this hobby is getting to be only for the "RICH". I can't afford the dang thing let alone trying to get it into my house.

Don't you recognize an April Fools joke when you see it??? MR has a tradition of having an April Fools joke in their magazine.

Cacole, Don't you recognize other's making April Fools jokes when you see it? Everyone in this thread was adding to the joke, until you went and ruined it! However, I think we were all just looking for someone to fool. Thanks for taking the bait!

I want one put in my driveway. Now, how much of an Nscale layout would fit in that car? How about towing it to the next Nscale Ntrak meet?

A few miles from me, there is a house on a nice piece of property. And on that property is a RR crossbuck... and a caboose.

1:1

Full Scale.

Someday, I'm just going to drive up that guy's driveway, knock on his door, and ask what gives.

Oh, and I really want my own caboose in my backyard.... :)

Hey, that's one of the best things about volunteering for your local railroad museum--you can help build, paint and detail 1:1 scale trains and maybe even operate them!

Can you think of a better place for a layout?

That's what I thought - PERFECT!!!!

What's the inside dimensions of a caboose? 35 feet long by 10 feet wide? That would be a very nice layout.
