Bright chrome paint for diner

I'm assembling a Master Creations "Babe's Diner" and cannot find a suitable acrylic chrome paint. All the silvers and chromes I've found appear too gray. The color is supposed to be bright silver or chrome. Any suggestions?

Micro-Mark sells a chrome film with adhesive backing that you rub onto the surface. This is used by automobile and aircraft modelers for chrome and polished aluminum. This is really what you need for "Babe's Diner" as it is supposed to be polished stainless steel.

Thanks, Gregg. I will try to look into the Micro-Mark product, though it sounds like it may require some skill to make it work. Have you used this stuff, and how hard is it to use?

I have not used it, but have seen models where it was used. If you can apply dry transfers or masking tape you should be able to use this. Don't apply railings before you use it or try to cut window openings out of the film before applying.
