Many years ago.............SANTE FE RR "PAID" LIONEL TRAINS to use their logo..........how about that UNION PACIFIC!!!!!!!!!!!

Those were much kinder gentler times back then. I'm not sure if any money changed hands either way, but there was a lot of cooperation! Those classic Santa Fe F3's were a best seller for many years during Lionel's hayday.[8D]

Just so you know, the UP lost some of the battle regarding the trademarks of the fallen flags. The UP no longer owns the rights to the Katy. They one the right to enforce trademarks with the WP and Cotton Belt.
