Unless I'm missing something, looks like Simon's entry is #4!Wink [;)]

They are all interesting efforts.

After long and careful thought, they have convinced me. I have come to the conclusion that they are right. The aliens did it.

Got it.  Thanks for the clarification, Simon & Rotor.  I was sorta wondering if that was the case.

No, slimjerkins is the mod for the forum. The submissions were from different modelers.

Tom, each is by a different modeller.  They were to be anonymous during the judging phase so all were posted by the moderator of the contest.  Pictures were sent to him so that he could post them.

It was a neat contest in that you were not allowed to use any materials, other than detail parts that were not included in the kit.

Simon,

Unless I'm not understanding something, it looks like 16 iterations from the same modeler - i.e. slimjerkins?  Even so, it's still interesting.

This is kind of fun. 16 different modelers came up with their interpretation of a simple wooden kit.  You will likely recognize my effort, but there are some excellent models here from all talent levels.

It shows how even a simple kit can take on the personality of the builder.
