I'm looking forward to the Seaboard Coast Line versions.  My first cab ride was on a U18 in Tampa Yard in 1977, so these units will always be special to me.

It'll be nice to have some scale width body versions of these units. My partner and I built and painted 40 of these back in the early 90's from Athearn U-Boats. They sold like hotcakes, I didn't even get to keep a set, but I still have a few of the MEC decal sets left, (I had intended to chop up the then new Atlas U-23b, but never got around to it).

The manufacturer has pushed the delivery date back to November (but theydont say which year).  Just in time for Fathers Day!

It would be nice if they hurried up a little, as I outlived my life expectancy 5 years ago.
