I can't answer question #1 but PRR Drak Green Locomotive Enamel is almost a shade of black. The old joke is add one drop of green for each gallon of black.  Dependent on the lighting of the photo it will show up as dark green or black but all should be painted DGLE.

Above,

 1. How long is it in inches?

 2. Are the latest run (Blue line M1b specifically)painted black or dark green (all the photos look black, but ive seen some that are dark green)
