The new railroad is to be called the Australia East Rail (AER). The paint scheme is the V&O paint scheme except that it has AER instead of V&O. It is applied to all of the locomotives.any comments or questions?

The AER railroad is a relatively new railroad as the GDRM&MCo stopped funding its rail service and sold it. Queensland Rail and New South Wales Rail partialy bought it and began to buy the rolling stock the GDRM&MCo had and reemployed the old GDRM&MCo Rail operators. Having bought all of the freight and passenger cars and 121 of the 130 SD70MACs and are planning to buy the rest of the locmotives and extened the tracks further to connest to their own lines. Full operations of the entire system will be expected to resume in 2020

It is expected that in 2060 all the east coast railways in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria will merger into the AER. By then the Jet Train project will have been around for 57 years after its maiden voyage across the high speed line opened up to serve passengers with a 1000 kmp/h service. Specially built with heat resistent, lightweight metals it is propelled by a pair of B-2 Spirit turbofans (dont know the name of them) and is shaped like a high speed jet. It is the first true "jet train" because it is powered by jets unlike Bombardier's jet train which uses a turbo fan that has been modified, the GDRM&MCo JetTrain has two pure jets to propell it to higher speeds. It is the fastest train around.
