Bentonite Service Hopper Weathering?
Posted by RedGrey62 on Monday, May 26, 2008 7:16 PM

As I said in an earlier post, I've been getting some weathering done.  Many of the older ACF 2 bay hoppers used by the CB&Q were for cement service and I have plenty of photos for reference in weathering them.  However, some of the cars were lettered for bentonite service and most of the photos are of new or nearly new cars with little or no weathering.  Anyone have any ideas on how bentonite service cars looked?

Thanks
