Best Decoder for Athearn Engines

I am curious if anyone can give me any idea which would be the best decoder from digitrax for athearn F7 and GP9 units?

I don't know about Digitrax, but I and many of the folks I know use TCS T-1s for Athearns. They are only about $15.00 apiece, easy to install and have just basic functions, so unless you have a complicated lighting system, like Mars lights or beacons, it will probably meet your needs for most Athearns. TCS also has a 1 year pretty much no questions asked return policy, so if it gets fried, you can get it replaced.
