RP for car weights

Hello Mike,

Welcome to the forum.

I don't like doing sums every time I need to know a weight so I modified a scale to read in inches.

That's the ticket. RP20.1. 1 ounce plus 1/2 ounce per inch. My memory ocassionally suffers from "old-timers" disease. Thanks for the help.

I believe it's one ounce plus a half of ounce per inch so a five " long car
should come in around 3 .50 oz

Adding additional weights is simple as adding pennies,

1st time post. Can any one refresh my memory? What is the RP for weight for cars? It goes something like so much weight per inch of the car after (i think) 5 1/2". I'm talking fo HO gauge. Thanks.
