Need a small power pack to supply juice to turnouts
Posted by liquidcross on Friday, February 20, 2004 9:17 AM
Well, I've ordered all the parts for my N scale layout, but I realized I made one error: I ordered the Digitrax Zephyr DCC system to control my trains, and it doesn't have AC outputs to control my turnouts! Oops. So I assume I need to buy another power pack now, just for the turnouts. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive one? Obviously I don't need a fancy one with throttles and such...I'm just going to use it to run turnouts, and MAYBE accessories down the line.

Thanks in advance! [:D]

Here's a good inexpensive source for small power packs (transformers).

Cool, that might work. I'll look into it.
