UP "Big Blow" Turbine HO scale... anybody

@All:

Hi there, let me introduce myself by saying that i'm from the Netherlands and I enjoy Americal modelrailroading for several years now. Most of my rolling stock is Athearn with an occasional Bowser unit in between. Most of them are diesels, I own a Rivaossi Big Boy and we have a Challenger on the tracks.The layout is in HO scale and covers 25% of the attick. I enjoy the hobby for about 20 years now. My father infected me several years ago and he enjoys it sinds I can remember... My job is an air traffic controller in the Netherlands and I am 38 years old. Now you know who you're dealing with, haha!

My question is the following: Does anybody knows where to purchage a UP turbine model HO scale like a 50's series or a veranda? I only saw the machines of overland sofar, is there any other brand involved in the turbine scene? Please let me know! Thanks for your effort, best regards, GERT

[#welcome] Curtiss5 !
Lionel is bringing out a Veranda turbine next month, advanced reservations are taken at www.walthers.com at $499,99
you could buy a www.resintrains.com bodyshell and kitba***he chassis, but that is about it.
The Overland "Big Blow" set is sold out at Overland, rsp was $1695,= now available on some brass selling sites in europe for round and about the doubled price, that's what I call a good investment.

ps leuk een andere nederlander tegen te komen
