A pencil eraser wks mighty well too, but yes it is ok. Also don';t forget the wheels and the wheel pickups.

Hi Guys
When a locomotive becomes sluggish Is it Ok to take a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a lint free cloth and clean the black crud off.
