To all:

Actually, I'm not particularly happy about what I've just witnessed here.  In the past 5 hours, some of you have managed to turn a legitimate inquiry started my Thommo, completely hijacked the thread, and turned it into some sort of haggler's meet.  IMHO, these last 3+ pages should have been primarily handled via PM between the interested parties.

If I had stumbled across all this earlier, I would have locked it because it had detracted from the OPs initial post.  The only reason I opened up this thread again was to find out how it could go from 18 posts to 72 posts in such a short period of time.

I am not against finding good homes for unused or underutilized locomotives, rolling stock, or equipment.  What I am against is monopolizing someone else's thread for things that should be handled in private - even if no money is being exchanged.

In the future, please keep this sort of activity to PMs or e-mails; NOT on someone's ELSE'S thread.  Thank you for your consideration.

In the meantime...The balcony is closed!

All of us are happy. Some got rid of some stuff they didn't want, & some got a new train or trains all thanks to the very generous Jeff Wimberly. Give him a round of appluase!

Alright, I'll take them. PM going to be sent ASAP.

Wants: 1. high-quality, sound equipped, SD40-2s, C636s, C30-7s, and F-units in BN. As for ones that don't cost an arm and a leg, that's out of the question....

2. An end to the limited-production and other crap that makes models harder to get and more expensive.

I meant that as the drive train runs smoothly. The loco has some pickup issues that need to be addressed, otherwise it runs just fine.

Well, let's see what you have there.

There's this three dome tank car.

This shorty flatcar.

Four hoppers like this one.

And two flatcars like this one.

There's already two people who want the GP30. I'll have to wait to see what they have to say. The motor and gears in the FT are good. I just tested it by hooking it direct to the power pack with a couple of alligator leads and the motor runs, gears turn as well. It's one of the old DC only models that has the motor grounded to the frame.
I think I want it. Just to check, is uninsured shipping free fo me? And can I see the MP swicter?

Can he get BOTH? I just want the GP30.

Packer: It's the GP30 he wants. If he gets both that would be the GP30 and the switcher.
I'll take the swicther too. Thanks a lot Jeff!

Packer: Negative. It is not DCC equipped. The tape holds down the wires. I had to hardwire it after the light board burned out.

Jeff, I'm takin the GP-30. Sorry Packer, but I'm geetin it! Jeff, I'll send you a pm with my address. Once you get my adress, never, ever use it again until I say so. Agreed?
