I would read through all your DCC instructions/information and if that doesn't answer the question, go to Atlas and get information from the folks-in-the-know!

Help with problem with my dcc unit

I just bought an used Atles engine with a factory installed DCC chip the only thing is after I serviced it, it will only run in one direction even if I run it on a DC power testing track. Any ideas as to what is wrong with the unit? Is it the chip, the engine itself, or could it be some of the grease/oil got in the wrong places?THXS
