Thanks dougal. I even thought it might be a lease outfit. No joy on the search yet. What's good for taking paint off brass? Same as plastic? Think I'll try identifying by class and type. Will try to match to a prototype photo. :)

National Lines

I purchased a 4 axle diesel locomotive with the logo National Lines #3343. The paint is black on the shell which is brass. There are no other markings on it. I have done a search and found nothing that helps me. Has anyone ever heard or seen one of these? Or could it be a family model railroad name? Thanks
