Busy Day!!

I have had a busy day
I managed to weather about 20 freight cars, I think that has been the most I have done on the railroad in a while. I was up by 6:00am and had a shower and ate and was in the train room by 8:45 and was there until 5:00pm. Has anybody had a day lately that they felt that alot was acomplished on the Railroad.

I too had a succesful day, shovelled snow and slush, cleaned house, got railway working and mainline back in operation after route to back routes graded, had 7 derailments, Cubs showed up at 1 and left at 4, built Kub Kars, showed Cubs and parents layout and lent two layout plan books to parents, made some converts.

i've had a few of those. just putting kits together. today i did alright. i put together the end car for a C&NW "400" train and put some old trucks on a flat car and switched some couplers on different cars.
saturdays i always try to find something to do. but today it was hard because i had all the kits i'd bought put together already and didn't really have much to do in the way of a layout since i don't have one yet. i think once i get that i'll be really busy.

I did pretty good today. I installed a bridge and got some scenic work done. I'll add pics to
my site in the morning. It's getting late. Dave

like a kamikaze, drove my car (with broken clutch) to a model-fair in a town 15 miles from me, nice fair, modellers froms miles around showed off wath they build:
a big modular layout ( 300 feet long ) some smaller modular club layouts, small diorama's but also slotcars, RC vehicles in all sorts and sizes, boats, cranes, doll-houses, awesome model diesel en steam engines, working but build up from scratch,
lots of inspiration!

spent half the day at my workbench trying to quiet a rattling Bachmann GP30.
Tried every remedy in the books and gave up in disgust. Think I'll remove the motor and make it a quiet and docile dummy.
