AT&SF - No chance to dig into my collection of storage boxes in the trainroom for my model. However, here's a illustration from the 1960 Walthers Catalog. Wish I could reproduce the entire page but it eats up way too much space on my image storage site.

Incidentally, sending me a PM is probably a bad idea, I never check them!

Sure...it was introduced in the late 1950's and was based on the old AT&SF M-190 Doodlebug. Advertised as a single unit, multi-purpose power, it was capable of operating as a self-contained "train", pulling a short freight consist, or towing one or two trailer passenger cars. Walthers' intended for it to be used on layouts that had absolutely minimal radius trackage (15"). This item went out of production in the 60's. I have one kicking around the trainroom in a box somewhere.

My friend was telling me about his trip to the train store. He said he saw this walthers articulated thing called "the shuttlejack" Has anyone ever seen or heard of one of these, does anyone have a picture?
