Marc,

I have an 11 track yard in HO, it takes up an area of about 2'X16', the longest track at the back can hold around 15 hoppers and the shortest track in the front can handle around 3-4 hoppers.

The link below will direct you to one of my gallery pages, scroll down to Tuesday, November 07, 2006 on this page an you will see some images of the yard.

Hi,

I am in the stage of planning a yard for my Maclau River RR in Nscale. Go to  www.Nscale.org and see my private album at the Letter "M".

I want a 12 tracks ladders which can accomodate a train of 15 "50foot hoppers" and an articulated loco in the longer track. Another feature, I want to have, is a caboose track on each side of the ladder. The ladder is made of number "6" turnout made by Fastrack Jig (see them at www.handlaidtrack.com)

A small secondary yard which will be used as an interchange between my main line and a secondary line; this would be a welcome addition.

I am searching info sand plans for inspiration. Photos of existing model would be welcome too.

Help me, I amturning around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks.

Marc
