While Athearn's home page continues to indicate that the Model Railroader 70th Anniversary SD40-2 locomotives have an ETA of January 2004 (the caboose appears to have been scheduled for last month), none of the shops out my way seem to be aware of just when the anniversary items might actually appear. Is there anyone here knowledgeable as to if the engines are already in the pipeline, due soon, or are being postponed until after the Horizon/Athearn merger?
