My not quite LHS has tubes with many different types of scale timber/lumber.  There is one that seems to be pine, about 3' long as all of these things are, that are about 1/16" thick, about 1/8" wide.  I would think one of these would make perhaps 25-28 carefully measured and cut ties for HO scale.

Otherwise, you are looking at shipping costs...unless you are appealing to someone who posts here that is nearby?

Need help with HO switch ties.
Posted by fwdguy on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 2:53 PM

I am working on a project and I need a few wood HO switch/turnout ties. I was wondering if someone here had a few HO scale stained wood ones to spare? I really dont need a bag of a 100 that I found at the LHS. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

 Mark
