Surprised that you don't have "The Ocean" As a train it may be the longest extant, having started, I think, way before CN, and has been continued through all the mergers and so on down to VIA today. It runs between Montreal and Halifax.

I went looking for this name this morning. If I recollect this is the oldest surviving run in Canada and again if I'm not mistaken was begun by the Inter Colonial Railroad (ICRR).
This would have gotten my vote if posted.

The ONR's Little Bear mixt train would be interesting, with its boxcars, passenger cars, and canoe car.

VIA's Halifax-Montreal Ocean is the oldest named passenger train in North America. It has operated continuously since its inception in 1904 on the Intercolonial Railway of Canada, predating the formation of the Canadian National Railway (which included the IRC) by 25 years.

Meanwhile, I chose VIA's Bras d'Or, as it travels over my prototype. Duh! [:o)]
'Course, I'd have to model the trestle at Ottawa Brook too for maximum effect...

I'm surprised no one has chosen the Super Continental, though it came in at least 3 colour schemes, probably more. The most famous is the green, black and yellow. This paint scheme has been ripped off and used elsewhere, I think the latest is the Hudson Bay RR.

Don't you mean the "Caribou"? I don't think that "Newfie Bullet" was its official name. I thought this name was applied to all transisland passenger trains, the last one being the Caribou.
