I would say...if you are looking for super deals by folks getting rid of collections or on used equipment, then you're better off sticking with the small swap meets. If you want to see a lot of new products in all scales, then the Monroeville show in about as good as you're going to find in this area.
Unlike the old Greenberg shows, most of the dealers with dollhouses are gone, but there are still some selling toys, die-cast cars, etc. That said, there are a lot of very good dealers with items for the serious modeler. You'll find a good selection when it comes to HO rolling stock, engines, track, scenic supplies, tools, etc. You don't see a lot of brass and craftsman type kits, but that's not the type of show for those. You will find a number of dealers with older or used products, but they usually seem to be the ones who want too much for everything and keep bringing the same tired items back show after show. Most of them don't really seem to be all that interested in moving their products. I don't know about anyone else, but those the dealers I get tired of seeing at every show. Other than that, I always enjoy the show and I think you probably will too.

"Rust, whats not to love?"
It's on January 19th and 20th. It's a better show than many I have attended, and not as good as others, like Timonium for instance. As far as bargains, you have to shop smart. I have been going to each show for the past couple of years, but then, it's not that far a drive for me.

I'm planning to go, although it is not the best show out there. Still for around here...
I like the small local swaps better.
