1. Have you ever heard of Chicago Model International?I am looking at purchasind one of their
dial a gauge powerpacks (sounder blue 40)Have any of you tried this yet

2.Have any of you used o Scale lighting on a Ho scale layouts?Does it really look out of place ? ie street lights and goose neck building lights

1). I have never heard of Chicago Model International. However, there are lots of model railroad companies I haven't heard of.
2). To me, they would look out of scale. However, the great thing about model railroading is the individual modeler gets to be the boss and make the decisions about what looks O.K. Don't let the "Purests" hobble you, either, you do what makes you happy

If I'm not mistaken, Chicago Model International went out of business a few years ago.

If Chicago Model International is the same company that made "Hogger" power packs, I think they did go out of buisness. Their power packs were't very good.
