  Hi W

I have had no problem with the code 100. I take a small file and just one swipe on each side of the cut and turnout rails does the trick. Some Peco turnouts have wide flangeways that may have to be shimmed so wheels dont pick the frog points.

The track is on portable modules that take a beating. Heat changes,Weather, moving,Elbos and any other harsh enviroment you can dish out has done nothing to the track at all. I wish I could say the same for my sceanery.

    Pete

I pray every day I break even, Cause I can really use the money!

I started with nothing and still have most of it left!

The same problems us old guys do. They do not line up perfectly with each other and the rail joiners are a little different. They take a little adjustment and if you are joining 100 to 83, you have those problems as well. Take your time and make sure that they line up on the top and on the inside edge.
If you think you have it right, your standards are too low. my photos http://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a235/ARTHILL/ Art

What problems will a "young model railroader" encounter when laying Peco Insulfrog turnouts with Atlas flex track?
