racing with RC-Cars for more than 10 years I have some experience with electro motors. Go to a hobby shop and ask for "power drops" or commutator cleaning an protecting fluid. There's a brand called Trinity selling racing motors and cleaning respectively protecting products as well.

I might have to go away for a while and I was wondering how can I put my engines away so that the motors won't get corroded (you know, how they get if they sit for a while and you run them with that distinctive burning smell). Any suggestions on how to store them properly, I've never really had to deal with this before, so yeah. Thank you for your help.
