I posted an entry (named the LBT RR "Loopy Bridge and Terminal Railroad" - since it has a loop, bridge traffic and local switching ) to SpaceMouse's 4x8 design competition. Layout looks like this (after a light modification to use some Peco medium turnouts I had layout around):
I simulated an operating session on this layout, building a local from the yard in Town A (upper half), doing some local switching in Town B (Lower half), clearing the main twice to allow a superior train to pass thru, and then continuing on to Town C (which bore an uncanny resemblance to Town A) to drop off the cars picked up at Town B and some cars for interchange traffic.

Any really obvious problems with the switching moves I make here ?
