Yes, these were made years ago in brass. In particular, by NWSL, circa 1974 & 77. PSC also offered something quite similar. Generally, the former is only moderately expensive, while the latter far more so...but that's if you can even find one! Wink [;)]

Just saw a photo of a Campbell River Timber Co. mint Baldwin 2-8-2T saddle tank locomotive, what a beauty, this is a very large locomotive, engineer and fireman are standing beside it and only come to the floor of the cab, I never realized they were this big(compared to a large steam locomotive) Did anyone ever make a model of this type?? I would think if they did it would be brass.   thanks
