I'll have to make sure i get the right fittings then, I also have a large AC, and i dont plan on buying a different one just for airbrushing
I will probably be heading over there tuesday as i have some other things to get in the area aswell, so unless for some reason i cant go you should here from me then
mikesmowers wrote: prr- The one that I got was not on sale but the sales lady said she thought there were going to be 40% off coupons every week until Christmas. The airbrush I got is the Paashe VL-SET. In the Lawton store they had I think 3 different ones. They also had just the spray gun with no attachments for $150.00, I didn't think I needed that airbrush. Good Luck. I have been playing with my airbrush all day and I think I am starting to get the hang of it, still lots of learning to do. Mike
yeah, they have the 40% of coupons on there website i found out
Thanks for the info though, i will probably look at the ones similar to, or get the same one you got
I've had a cheap, $20 airbrush a while ago, an i cleaned it properly and everything but it ended up dieing out, I've bin wanting to step up to a good quality one for a while now, and this seems like a good opertunity
quick question though did yours come with all the fittings and everything you need to hook it up to an aircompressor, or do you need to buy those seperatly?

Thanks
i may have to take a trip over to hobby lobby
I've bin wanting an airbrush for awhile, but my LHS is not so local, never even though to look at hobby lobby
do you have a model discription of which airbrush you got there?
People just say everything you want to hear for some dumb reason. That was NOT a good deal. The reason I say that is I just bought a very nice double action Paasche air brush set on Ebay for only $30 BUY IT NOW plus $8 shipping. It is a very nice unit. You had to use 40% off to get the $60 price. Ebay has better deals. For $60 you could have gotten a badger double action set. AND yea yea yea, I know you do not get a warranty on Ebay but is that your best reason not to buy on Ebay because if so then it is lame. For every bad sale there are hndreds of good ones. By the way the one I bought actually has a refund policy within 7 days but others may not offer anything.
So your deal was not great but it was just average
mikesmowers wrote: I just got back from Hobby Lobby with a new air brush and would like to know what you think of the quality. It is a Double Action, Internal mix Paasche Air Brush set. It was $100.00 but I used a 40% off coupon so I got it for around $60.00. Is this a descent set or did I get taken? I have been using an external mix that came from Wally World ($20.00 + or -) and would like to think the new one is a much better set, am I correct? Thanks, Mike
Is this sale still going on? and where'd you get the coupon
I'm in need of an airbrush
I've got a single action model H but wish I had the double. Depending on which kit you got, that's not a bad price. Here's what they're going for on-line.http://dixieart.com/PaascheVL.html
Any Paasche Air Brush is a good one. You did not get taken. That is how I buy all my air brushes these days (with the 40% coupon at Michaels or Hobby Lobby).
It is a much better brush but you might find it takes a bit more to learn how to use it correctly. And more importantly clean it correctly. The internal mix brushes will clog much easier with acrylic paint.
