About 2 months ago, the UP was replacing some rail with CWR, and there was a small work train that consisted of 7 gondolas and a MP Transfer caboose. Suprisingly, one of these Brandt Semi-Trucks was hauling it.

I heard that CN uses these to haul grain trains in Canada where the track is so light, bringing in an engine could be disasterous (look at the Dakota Southern Railroad if you want to know what I mean...)

After I saw the truck, I wanted a model of one. Surprisingly, no one makes one yet. Maybe a possible "I want one" model?

Hello everybody,

I hope that this falls into the model category.  Here is a web site with interesting MOW equipment that might be interesting/fun to model.
