Also, Corgi makes a PCC street car that is in O scale and can be motorized to to run on an O layout, if you are up to the challenge.

STILL in mourning for ConCor not being able to get enough customers to produce the electroliners.
some 6000's, a few 1-50's and some PCC's... heaven

MTH made some L cars a couple of years ago in "O" which you can still pick up at some hobby stores or on eBay.
Nothing in HO anymore that I'm aware of. There were a few "basement" companies making some about 10 to 20 years ago, but I haven't seen anything lately.
What may be good news though is that Proto 1000 RTR New York subway cars have just been released by Life-Like. If they take off maybe they'll consider making other lines like the CTA as well. I emailed them as soon as I saw the ad for the MTA cars and expressed an interest in CTA cars, maybe if others do too it'll spark a fire.
