Attach the blue wire to the same place on the rear bulb as you did on the front bulb. The blue is common to both lights. White to the front, yellow to the rear. They should be directional by default. Front light on in forward and rear light on in reverse.

Connect the blue wire from the front and also connect it to the rear as well.  If I connected the blue wire to the bottom of the bulb on the front do I also connect it there as well on the rear.  I am just being really careful as i have already fried a decoder or two in the last couple days.

wiring bachman decoders.

Hey all,  now I know bachman is not everyones first choice of decoders but please bear with me.  The decoder comes with red orange black grey white blue and yellow wires.  Now I have figured out the red orange black and grey wires as these are the power wires for the motor.  My troubles start when wiring the light.  White is front light, yellow is rear light and blue is function mode wire.  I wired one terminal of the light to white and the other to blue.  Works great but how do I do the rear light for directional lighting.  These have gone in my fleet of Riv rs-2 and gp-18's.  Now neither have a rear light but I have some bulbs that I want to put there.  So how do I wire the rear light??  HELP!!!

Thanks
