Hello

Does anyone know the status of this program. I cannot find any new information on this. I have heard rummors that its been canned.
I think TRAINZ is a better prodcut anyway.
Any insight / comments?

I haven't heard anything about Microsoft abandoning Train Simulator, but considering the way they abandon their OSs and other programs, it wouldn't surprise me if they do if sales fall below a certain point. Train Simulator was not programmed by Microsoft, but by a company in England.

Just got one for christmas and I think its great. Its better if you load the Ohio Rail options - freely available on the web.

I bought it a year ago and enjoy it on ocassion. I have asked about the next version and was told it would be released last November. It didn't show, so I went back to the store and now they say it's scheduled for spring 2004. Plus they say it will not be an upgrade. It will be a totally new and seperate program. Only time will tell.
