Yep, listen to 4884bigboy. I did not want this topic to turn into a fight anyway, so if I could just get rid of it (you can help by deleting what you put in this topic), we can all act like we did BEFORE this topic came up. OK?

You know what, I think you're right, AntonioFP45. Let's all just stop bickering and get back to the fun of this hobby!

Hey Amigos,[B)]
[V]
Sad to say but this kind of stuff takes the fun out of the forum & hobby. Professional railroaders reading this particular thread are probably shaking their heads & wondering what kind of "people" or "kids" are chiming in. The "ghetto/gangsta" stuff just degrades this column (BTW I lived in the ghetto for some years--at age 20 my cousin was shot & killed for no reason---NOTHING cool or glorious about ghetto or gansta!!!!!!! Wake up!!!!!!!! )
Does this stuff really matter? Arguing about man made MACHINES makes little sense. This country has produced some outstanding railroad machines. There is no such thing as one being totally better than the other. They were all great in their own right with distinct advantages & disadvantages when compared to each other. Let's get back on track & enjoy this forum and hobby. It's incredibly helpful but if we fill it up with trash, many of our fellow hobbyists may lose interest, quickly![:)]

That's all right 4884. I am currently trying to delete this topic so it doesn't cause any more harm to big boy fans. I was mostly saying that Union Pacific is my least favorite class 1. Big boys are among my favorite articulated steam steam engines. I felt guilty watching a preview for Union Pacific Big Boy collection, the popular Pentrex video.

Big Boys were good at hauling fast freight over the mountains. But when it comes to pulling a long heavy coal drag over the mountains, give me a N&W Y6b anyday.

Seems to me if you're going to criticize everyone elses RR choice, be willing to accept a little of the UP. This is all friendly discussion, don't take any of this seriously.[:)]

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Interesting!

Generally the larger the fonts get the smaller the argument's merit.

The stronger the language gets the weaker the reasoning to back it up.

Soooooo if the UP, the BNSF or any other railroad is better than the next seems to play out like the pre-schoolers arguing about whose father is the best.

Nice going, guys.

Shut up, man. Everyone knows that it's all about the Union Pacific and the Big Boy, whether you want to admit it or not.

It's OKAY to disagree, guys; everyone's entitled to their opinion. Let's not get ugly in the forums, however. There's enough hostility in the outside world as it is.[V]
I agree completely, everyone is entitled to their opinion and has the right to express that opinion. This is a hobby, not politics. Please don't treat as such. Not everyone is a UP fan, for me it's the NYC and the NH, two very great giants of the Northeast. I do like UP Turbines but thats the limit of my interest in the UP. Please troops, keep this a civil forum, and enjoy the hobby. Attitude and Ego can be checked at the door.[V][V][V][V][:(!][:(!]

If all of you could delete what you put on this topic, then I could delete this topic. Would you mind taking the extra time deleting your posts here? Thanks![;)]
