Athearn mail order question

About three weeks ago I ordered a ready to roll GP60M from trainworld, and I was wondering since athearn got bought by Horizon hobbies will I still get my locomotive? I read somewhere on the atlas forums that all athearn orders will be cancelled. Is this true[?]

You should still get your loco - assuming trainworld had it in stock at the time you placed the order. I would guess the story about all athearn orders being cancelled refers to orders placed with Athearn by retailers (assuming it's not another unfounded rumour). If you're worried, I'd suggest emailing trainworld and asking for confirmation that they'll be able to supply your loco. My LHS had GP60Ms in stock when I went in this week - very nice, though I can't afford one at the moment!
