Well, think what the prototypes did: The Wabash used FA's and F's (and FM Trainmasters); The NKP used Geeps and RS units; the IC used Geeps, and so on. Just do some research on the area prototypes...

I need Locomotive ideas for a fast-paced railroad set in the midwest in the 50's or 60's. Any response appreciated! (Even if there are modern locomotives!) I just want other opinions
