Oh well, No GG1...Those little electric switchers engines are really cool. The flipping scenes every ten seconds litterally gave me a headache though.

Some times they show 2- 1/2 hour shows back to back. The GG1 might be the next segment.
What does it matter?? It's still TRAINS!!!Big Smile [:D]

Sure am glad I said

announced feature

because it just came on and it ain't GG1s; instead it is on Iowa Interurbans which is a repeat from a few months back. Interesting, to be sure, but it ain't GG1s.

Sure sorry for the erroneous info!!!

Aaargh!  I don't get that channel!

I did see a GG-1 on The War on PBS.  They showed it pulling a passenger train, and then cut to an interview of a woman in Alabama talking about greeting furloughed G.I.'s.  They didn't come out and say that this was a train going through Alabama, but they didn't bother to remind people that it wasn't, either.

The War may not be about trains, but it's still pretty interesting, and hour for hour you'll see more 20th century steam engines on this show than pretty much anything else.

It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
