What exactly does this mean? Is there a 8 pin connector in there? This is not a blue line. Just wanted to know what is involved with a PCM DC train that is DCC/Sound upgradable. Sorry to repeat from other forum threads but it holds me back from making a purchase. I was going to install a Tsunami Digital Sound Decoder in a PCM engine since the PCM sound upgrade is not available. Just doing my research.

Well, i Purchaced a PCM Big Boy which was DCC ready. It has an electronic board with a 8 and 21 pin connector,so all you need is to plug in a decoder.
