For chap who wants to build a layout in a Texas shed

I was at another forum and the person said he had good luck with Atlas trutrack on his layout. His layout apparently has gone through a lot of temperature changes and his true track has not been affected. You might want to try this track in your shed, which will be subject to radical heat fluctuations.
