I don't see where this is all that odd. I still call trains "electric trains" when I'm explaining to people what my favorite hobbies is.

Yes, as a matter of fact I do.
However, with their pizza cutter flanges I doubt if I'll get much use out of them since I'm using code 83 and code 70 track on my layout.
