The only place that TT really caught on was Eastern Europe; i.e., what used to be East Germany and perhaps Poland and the former Czechoslovakia; and East Germany is the only place that any of it is being made, as near as I know.  I think an East German company named Piko still makes TT products.  I doubt if any is being imported to the U.S.

I have a couple of pieces left over from a TT set that I bought in Germany in 1976. At the time, it was one of the going things there. I haven't seen anything available for it in any LHS I've been to.

TT Scale
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 10:01 PM
I realize that is is a very little used scale.  Although I do not model it myself, I was wondering if anyone does.  Are there any dealers out there who still sell/manufacture in this scale?  I was always interested in it due to the size (still a lot of railroading in a small space but slightly larger than N; therefore a bit easier on old eyes).  Thanks for reading.
