Looked it up for you. Closest I came to the color scheme
is a road in Indiana called the MONON. BUT......
many roads went to a blander color scheme to save a buck
on paint costs. Mantua, wow, they do not put out much these
days. Keep that around and get it a display case, may be worth
$$$$$$$. good luck.

Need road name for a color scheme

Help me before I go mad!!! As a child I remember my uncle had an HO GP with a tall short hood that was manufactured by Mantua, (I think), back in the late 50's early 60's. I remember it was black overall with a gold stripe that ran around it. I don't remember if it was at the bottom or middle of the body. I do remember that it had some red lettering inside the gold. I can't seem to find any info on road colors, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks[:D]
