My Model power n scale people from a bridge look too big to fit the cars or doorways.

LOL, [:D] people at the loading platform dropped their bags and are sorting things out. Those Kato Amtrak Phase 4 cars are pretty good looking. I wonder if Kato would ever do those Amtrak California Cars.

the walls of the body shell, window inserts and teh backs of the seats will all be over scale for manufacturing needs so teh interior has to be squeezed a bit to fit it all in.
i think you get this in all scales up to S.

Cut 'em off.
I wouldn't count on Model Power ANYTHING to be scale-accurate, by the way.

N Scale Kato Amtrak passenger cars, why don't the people fit?

Ok, so I got this set of Kato Amtrak Phase IV passengers cars for X-mas. Now, I was hoping to open them up and put in my passengers, both standing and sitting. But when I took a couple of the Model Power passengers and dry fit them, their feet pushed their bodies up off of the seats. The only way to get them to fit is to cut off come of their feet. Also, when I opened the car up, the seats are molded to look as if two people could sit side by side. But when I put one of the people in the seat, it took up both seats.
Is this normal? Are there any differences between N scale here and N scale in Japan? I don't mind cutting of the bottoms of the passengers legs since you won't be able to see anyway, but was curious about this. [:0]
