DCC and Bachmann

Have 8 or 9 Bachmann  steam, mostly 2-4-2,where can i find info on a tune up and insstallation of DCC?

Are these the really cheap Bachmann toy train set engines or the better Spectrum models?  That is going to make a world of difference in whether or not they can be or are worth trying to convert to DCC.

If they're the cheap Bachmann toy train locomotives a decoder would cost more than any of them are worth.
