I purchased a throttle that in the end had a software conflict with my DCC system, yet many months after I had purchased it Bruce allowed me to trade it. Even though I made a mess of the packaging.

You can't go wrong with Litchfield Station. IMHO they provide the best service on the INTERNET.

I bought my Zephyr from them 5-years ago and I have purchased many decoders and other DCC equipment from them since.

The Station is the best as are its people, Bruce and Linda.

Remember its your railroad

As an update to my earlier posting, my order has arrived; 2 days total time!  Which other on-line store ships that fast?

I dont think that there are too many out there that can come up to the standard of service and sales that both Linda & Bruce provide.  top notch people. I will be a customer for a long time.

I've been buying all my DCC decoders from Bruce & Linda.  Quick delivery by Priority Mail and free on orders over $50.  In fact, I ordered 3 sound decoders Sunday, got confirmation email that order shipped Monday afternoon, and it should be here by Friday at the latest.  You won't have any problems with Litchfield Station.

What everyone above said and then some.

Shipment is very fast. What's really nice too, is the website is updated regularly. If it's out of stock, you know BEFORE placing an order. Bruce always answers email. Much of the info posted at the site (installations and such) if pretty helpful too.

I placed one order at another place and ended up waiting nearly two weeks because the item I wanted was out of stock. No email, nothing on the site about being out of stock. And when I emailed and asked about it, the response was rather abrupt.

I will buy all of my DCC stuff from Litchfield.

**** 'course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong ***********

I've communicated with Mr. Petrarca in the past.  Always answered my DCC related questions with an encouraging,  positive attitude.

(For those not aware: Back in 2004 when the MTH vs. QSI  litigation threat situation reared its ugly head most DCC vendors , while worried of the economic impact, "clammed up" and would not provide comments online.

Bruce had the backbone to share his opinions as to what he felt was going on regarding the merits of the case)

Top notch, fast service.  One of the best mail order sources.  Being close to him, I can call or place an on-line order today and have it tomorrow or the day after.

Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup] from me.  Bruce (Petraca) is a good guy, very knowlegeable, knows his stuff, and is very helpful.  If I send him an e-mail looking for a decoder recommendation, he usually responds back within 24 hours.  I would have no qualms doing business with him again.

I totally agree with all of the above. Good advice from them as well. No glitches even to Canada. I have bought from them three times so far. Everything from my first Zephyr to decoders and radio throttle.

I buy 90% of my MR stuff via internet.

Litchfield is one of the best for promptness and 100% filled orders.

I Purchased my first DCC system from him about 3 years ago and many decoders since then.

I give Litchfield TWO thumbs up!

I have purchased several things from Bruce and would wholeheartedly recommend the place.  Good prices, good service and good follow up.

My decoder installer gets all this stuff from them.  He seems pleased overall.  One or two hiccups, but nothing to drive him away.
