That's great! When you buy used you can get all sorts of amazing deals. I buy almost all of my trains used. Auctions are great, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. If there are any antiqe stores, pawn shops, second hand stores or junk stores in your area phone them and ask if they have trains. Whenever you're in another town or city, always check for these places. Of course many won't have trains, but some will. Sometimes they'll look harder for trains because of you. The owners of all the places like this where I am know me on a first-name basis and many phone me when they get trains in. Garage sales can also yeild trains. I know I once bought a complete Tyco set with a Southern 0-6-0 for $2 at a garage sale. Of course, sometimes, these people are out to rip you off, but the deals always outweigh the disappointments. Trust me, you'll be glad to have followed my advice. Good luck in finding many, many more trains!
