High-nose RSD-15, though the N-scale version of this (long out of production) is a poor quality early-N-scale engine, so I am working on repowering them using Atlas FM Trainmaster chassis. <br />Kato SD-45 ranks up there, my favorite EMD engine. <br />I will throw in a second for the Con-Cor 4-6-4, even though I don't run steam: this was a superior-quality engine long before Kato-type drives became the norm, and is still a great runner. <br />Life-Like FA-1, just an alluringly heavy brick of an engine. <br />Kato RS-3, my first N-scale deisel ever and still top-quality.
